Using the Performance report
Open it from Reports → Performance. It shows four synchronised charts (Total Sales, Ad Cost, % Organic, TACOS) and a set of KPI tiles for the store and dates you pick. The tiles are explained in What the dashboard numbers mean.
Five views
| View | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Master | Every product. You can search by SKU or ASIN. |
| Category | One category, or all of them. |
| Sub-Category | One category and sub-category pair. |
| Product Group | One product group, set by you or filled from Amazon's variation families in the ASIN Library (Group variations). |
| SKU | One exact SKU. It opens on your biggest SKU by sales. |
Each view shows only its own filter. Category, Sub-Category and Product Group open on All. Categories and groups come from your ASIN Library.
How the date range becomes days, weeks or months
| Range | Chart buckets |
|---|---|
| Up to 60 days | One bar per day |
| Up to 3 calendar months | One per week, starting Monday |
| Longer | One per month |
The first and last buckets are clipped to your range, so a partial week or month covers only the days you chose. A range can be at most 731 days.
Customise your tiles
Click Customize tiles, remove tiles, or add any preset from the list. Each change applies at once and is saved for you, on every device. Reset to default brings back the default eight: Total Sales, Ad Cost, % Organic, TACOS, Total Add to Cart, Cart → Purchase, Total Orders and Marketing Cost per Order.
Other presets include Refunds (the product price Amazon refunded on days in the range, counted on the day the refund was posted; it follows the SKU search and product filters, see Profit, margin and break-even ACOS), Average Order Value, Cost per Acquisition, Average CPC, Total Impressions, Total Clicks, Add-to-Cart Rate, Cost per Add to Cart, and Sessions, Conversion % and Buy Box % when Sales & Traffic data is loaded. Click any tile to open its metric as a large chart.
Pies and the full table
Below the charts, pies show each group's share of Total Sales and of Ad Cost (top 5 plus Other), with a table of every group. The pies split the view by the next level down: a category view splits by sub-category, and so on. Show table gives the exact numbers per bucket.
Reading the numbers
- Ratios show a gap when sales are zero.
- The latest days can carry no ad cost yet. See How fresh is my data.
- A change arrow compares with the equally long period before.
- The Starter plan sees 90 days of history. See Plans, trial and limits.
